Surprised there's no mention of Lees Mill in Bamford Road. My mother and Grandmother both worked there.

Lees Mill was the same thing as Hooley Bridge Mill.

Any one know of Gnat Bank Mill, near Tyrone Drive...ruins are there by unsure when built.

Hello, I am interested to learn more about a company called BEDFORD & Jones ltd, Rock street, Heywood. They were involved with Jaquard furnishing fabrics. Possibly a design firm or a wholesaller of furnishing fabric. Circa 1950's
